AHM 2006 Industrial Sponsor Package

The 2006 e-Science All Hands Meeting will be held at the East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham from the 19th - 21st September 2006. This is the fifth All Hands Meeting and builds on a highly successful Meeting in 2005. This year we are anticipating around 650 delegates at the meeting from academia, industry and government. This year we are joined by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) who are major sponsors of the UK e-Science All Hands Meeting 2006.

The All Hands Meeting is the major event that brings together the UK e-Science community. It offers an opportunity for individuals and projects to present recent developments, to network and to learn of other e-Science activities.

The Meeting will consist of Keynote Addresses by recognised experts in the field, presentations and posters, mini-workshops, Birds of a Feather sessions, and demonstrations at a number of booths organised around the Research Councils and e-Science Centre activities.

Conference attendees will be issued with a prize draw ticket and they will have the chance to win a prize from a draw at the end of the meeting - if they are still in attendance.

The main purpose of this note is to inform you of the opportunities for industrial sponsorship in this event.

Sponsors have the opportunity to provide sponsorship by direct funding, by sponsoring a particular event(s) during the meeting, or by providing prizes for the draw at the end of the meeting. Sponsorship will be recognised in the programme and throughout the meeting. Gold sponsors will have the opportunity to include material on the CD containing the Meeting Proceedings which will be distributed at the meeting to all attendees. Gold and Silver sponsors will be given the opportunity to include printed material in the delegate packs.

If you are interested in Sponsoring the event or for information on Sponsorship or to request a Sponsorship Pack to be sent to you, please contact Alison McCall alison@nesc.ac.uk or telephone 0131 651 4783.
